We've written more than once that Apple will change the look of its watchOS 10 operating system for the Apple Watch. Now some details have surfaced online.

Here's What We Know

So, according to insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the main innovation of the OS will be widgets. They will be similar to those in iOS, as well as the Siri dial, which appeared in the watch with the release of watchOS 4.

Apple is also testing new button actions. For example, tapping on the crown of the watch will open a list of widgets instead of going to the desktop.

By the way, according to Gurman, Apple may make the new interface optional. That is, users will be able to disable it and return to the familiar desktop with dials and a list of apps.

When We Can Expect It

Apple will show watchOS 10 at the WWDC 2023 conference in early June.
