Google will be announcing the Pixel 7a very soon. It will cost more than the last generation model.

Here's What We Know

We recently wrote that the Pixel 7a will start at $500 (€455) in the US, making it $50 (€45) more expensive than the Pixel 6a. In Europe, prices will rise even more.

The Pixel 7a will cost at least €509 in Eurozone countries, where the model will be sold officially, making it €50 more expensive than the Pixel 6a. But in the UK, the price has increased by £100 (€85) at once and will be £499 (€570) versus £399 (€455).

The Google Pixel 7a will get the Tensor G2 mobile processor. The same chip is found in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones, which were announced late last year. Also the future novelty will get a battery capacity of 4400 mAh, 20W fast charging and IP67 protection.

The smartphone will go on sale with Android 13 operating system pre-installed, and will get Android 14 in the fall. The Pixel 7a will be unveiled on May 10, 2023.
