vivo Y78: 120Hz LCD display, Dimensity 7020 chip, 5000mAh battery and up to 12GB RAM

vivo, unexpectedly, has announced a new Y-series smartphone.

Here's What We Know

The device has been named vivo Y78. The smartphone has a 6.64-inch display with a resolution of 2388×1080p and a picture refresh rate of 120Hz. The gadget runs on a Dimensity 7020 processor paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. The novelty has also been equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with 44W charging and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

As for the cameras, there are three in the device: a dual 50 MP main + 2 MP and a single 8 MP front-facing one. The novelty also comes with Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 and a USB-C charging port. The device comes with Android 13 operating system and OriginOS 3 shell.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Sales of the vivo Y78 will start on May 13, but so far only in China. The novelty will cost from $200.
