Apple has started testing a new proprietary processor.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, citing App Store developer magazine. The new chip comes with the name M3 Pro.
The SoC will be built on TSMC's 3nm process. In addition, it will be equipped with 12-core CPU and 18-core GPU. The processor will support 36GB of memory.
Unfortunately, there are no other details about the new chip. It is also unknown when the presentation of the chip will take place. Perhaps the SoC will debut in the new generation MacBook Pro. The release of the laptops is scheduled for 2024.
