It's official: Motorola to unveil Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra foldable smartphones on June 1
Motorola, after months of rumours and leaks, has revealed the announcement date for its new Razr range of foldable smartphones.
When We Can Expect It
According to the manufacturer's official invitation, the event will take place on June 1. That is, three weeks from now.
If leaks are to be believed, there will be two models in the new series: the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. The top model in the series will feature a 2640×1080p main screen with an AMOLED matrix and support for 120-144Hz picture refresh rates. The external display will also have an AMOLED panel, but with a resolution of 1056×1066p. In addition, the device will get a dual 12 MP main camera (Sony IMX563) + 13 MP (SK Hynix Hi1336), a 32 MP front camera (OmniVision OV32B40), a lateral fingerprint scanner, NFC, eSIM support, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and a battery up to 4000 mAh.
Unfortunately, the specifications of the Razr 40 are not yet available. All that is known is that the gadget will come with a small external screen.
