What the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will look like: mock-ups of unannounced smartphones
In the run-up to the launch of the new iPhones, case makers invest heavily in finding leaked information about the updated design so that they can be the first to produce suitable cases. That hasn't changed this year, with MacRumors reporters getting their hands on mock-ups of all four iPhone 15 models.
Here's What We've Seen
We should immediately note that these are not official mockups or finished products, but only "dummies", so to speak, which, nevertheless, give an idea of the design of future novelties. At first glance, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are very similar to their predecessors, but there are still differences.
So, the main change will be the replacement of the charging port with USB-C. It's rumoured that the iPhone 15 Pro models will support faster transfer speeds with possible Thunderbolt support, but the mock-ups of course can't confirm that.
Also, the case edges aren't as flat as previous models - Apple has rounded the corners a bit, resulting in a more comfortable gadget to use. And the mute switch has been turned into a button. Perhaps it's the Action button, which will be programmable and will be able to do more than just mute.
Finally, all four iPhones in 2023 will have Dynamic Island instead of the 'monobrow' that the regular iPhone 14 still has.
We're about four months away from the debut of the iPhone 15 models, which means that the design is complete and Apple will soon begin mass production. An official unveiling is expected in the autumn.
