Bloomberg: Apple may introduce a simplified version of the Vision Pro AR/VR helmet in 2025
Apple showed off the Vision Pro AR/VR helmet at WWDC 2023, and now seems to be working on another simplified version of the device.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman. Presumably, the novelty will be called Apple Vision or Apple Vision One. Most likely, the device will get simpler displays as well as a less efficient processor. In addition, the gadget will reduce the number of sensors and cameras.
As for the main components of the helmet, they are not planned to be removed. The device will have an external EyeSight screen to display the user's eyes and eye and hand tracking systems.
When We Can Expect It
Unfortunately, we shouldn't expect a simplified version of the Vision Pro anytime soon. If everything goes according to plan, the device will be shown in late 2025.
