Samsung Exynos W930: the name of the new processor for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Pro
Information has already surfaced online that Samsung is planning to install a new chip in the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Pro smartwatch. Thanks to the Bluetooth SIG database, we now know what the new product will be called.
Here's What We Know
According to the documents, the chip comes with the model number S5E5515 and the name Exynos W930. The processor will get Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi support and will be built on a 5nm processor.
Unfortunately, the SoC specs aren't available from the Bluetooth SIG database, but if rumours are to be believed, the chip will boast improved performance (up 10% over the Exynos W920 on the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5) as well as improved power efficiency.
When We Can Expect It
The processor will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Watch 6 smartwatch in late July.
