Xiaomi has made the very strange decision to end the lifecycle of more than half a dozen smartphones. The company has discontinued support for some devices, although MIUI 14 development has already begun, and some models have even managed to get a beta version of the firmware.
Here's What We Know
This is being reported by enthusiasts from the xiaomiui group, who call the Chinese company's decision wrong and unfair. Xiaomi has sent seven relatively old models to the EOS (End of Support) list:
- Redmi 9/9A;
- Redmi Note 9;
- Redmi 10X 4G/5G;
- Redmi K30i 5G;
- POCO F2 Pro.
All of them were introduced during 2020. The POCO F2 Pro smartphone stands out in this list. It is the flagship based on the Snapdragon 865 processor.
