Rumour: OnePlus Open foldable smartphone gets a special version of OxygenOS

Details of OnePlus' first foldable smartphone keep surfacing on the internet.

Here's What We Know

Following the name of the device, information about the gadget's software has also surfaced online. According to insider @_snoopytech_, the OnePlus Open will come with the proprietary OxygenOS Fold interface. The wrapper will be specially optimised for the wearable's form factor and will also be based on the Android 13 operating system. Unfortunately, no other details about the device's interface are yet available.

If the rumors and leaks are to be believed, the smartphone will be equipped with two displays: a 7.8-inch main display with 2K resolution, and an additional 6.3-inch display. Both panels will have an AMOLED matrix with a picture refresh rate of 120Hz. The OnePlus Open is expected to run the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The gadget will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery. It will get 67W charging support. There will be four cameras in the novelty: a triple 48 MP + 48 MP + 64 MP main camera and a single 32 MP front-facing camera.
