Samsung's Galaxy S24 flagships could get a 10-core Exynos 2400 processor
Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphones will be unveiled early next year. It is possible that they will receive the proprietary Exynos 2400 chip.
Here's What We Know
For many years, Samsung's top smartphones were available with Snapdragon and Exynos chips depending on the region. In 2023, the company has abandoned this practice - all three versions of the Galaxy S23 are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
According to new information, the Exynos chip could return as early as 2024. Samsung's Galaxy S24 flagships may be equipped with the company's proprietary Exynos 2400 mobile processor. Its main feature will be the presence of 10 cores at once instead of 8, which has become the gold standard.
Samsung Galaxy S24 will not be the world's first smartphones with a 10-core chip. This title belongs to the Meizu Pro 7, which debuted back in 2017. It is equipped with a Helio X30 processor. The chipset has two Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A35 / A53 cores each.
