Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be equipped with Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips depending on the sales region
Samsung last year abandoned the practice of equipping flagships with different chips depending on the sales region. But the company had the patience for less than a year.
Here's What We Know
We've already written that Samsung's Galaxy S24 family of flagships could get the company's proprietary Exynos 2400 chip. They will be announced this coming winter, but much earlier another model with different processors could be on sale.
We're talking about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Fan Edition (FE). The global version of the smartphone will be equipped with an Exynos 2200 mobile processor. The variant for the US market will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Both are manufactured using 4nm technology. We saw this SoC split a year and a half ago in the Galaxy S22 family.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be unveiled by the end of September. The smartphone will get a minimum of 8GB of RAM, a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 50 MP camera. The battery capacity will be 4,500 mA*h and fast charging power will be 25W.
