A few days ago, an analyst predicted that sales of the new iPhone 15 smartphones could be delayed by a few weeks and start not in September, but in October. And now a new report says that there might be a possible shortage of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Details

The source says that Apple is having problems with LG Display's displays. The iPhone 15 smartphones will receive reduced bezels, which will allow to increase the size of the screen without affecting the dimensions of the gadgets themselves. However, during assembly, and more precisely - during the process of connecting the screen to the body, LG displays did not pass the test for reliability. By the way, Apple faced a similar problem in the past for some Apple Watch models.

Apple is now trying to solve this problem. It also has displays manufactured by Samsung that it can use for assembly. However, these problems will allegedly lead to a limited number of new products being available right after launch. Especially the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the shortage could affect the iPhone 15 Pro as well.
