Xiaomi, after months of rumours and leaks, has announced the launch date for its new foldable smartphone.

The novelty will be called Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. According to the official invitation of the manufacturer in Weibo, the release of the gadget will take place next Monday - 14 August. The event will be held in China. By the way, the smartphone is unlikely to appear on the global market.

If you believe the rumours, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be equipped with two displays. In addition, the novelty will come with a top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, an under-screen front camera and a Leica main camera with four sensors. One of the sensors will be the Periscope. The smartphone will also get a battery of up to 5000 mAh with support for 67W fast charging. How much the novelty will cost is not yet known.
