The Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch has appeared in the FCC database with four strap variants
In October, Google should hold the traditional autumn presentation, where the new flagships Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro and the second generation Pixel Watch will debut. The smartwatch has just passed the certification of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), thanks to which some details about the novelty were revealed.
Here's What We Know
According to the FCC listing, there are three different models of the Pixel Watch 2 - G4TSL, GC3G8 and GD2WG. Among these three models, the GC3G8 and GD2WG are LTE-based variants, while the G4TSL is a Bluetooth/WiFi variant.
Aside from that, it appears that the watch will be available with four versions of straps: silicone, metal mesh, metal links and a thin metal strap. Apparently, the latter thin metal strap has never been used in Google's gadgets.
According to the leaks, the Pixel Watch 2 will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, a larger 306 mAh battery, a 1.2-inch round OLED display with a resolution of 384×384 pixels manufactured by Samsung Display instead of BOE, ultra-wideband (UWB) support and Wear OS 4 based on Android 13.
