Rumour: Apple will unveil Apple Watch X in 2024 or 2025 with an updated design and a new band mount

While we're all waiting for the Apple Watch Series 9 to be released this autumn, Apple engineers are already hard at work on the next anniversary version of the smartwatch.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman. According to the leak, the novelty will be called Apple Watch X (similar to the iPhone X).

The smartwatch will boast a completely updated design and a thinner body. In addition, Apple is going to change the system of fastening straps. It will become magnetic. This will allow to use more space for the battery and other internal components of the watch. Also the novelty should be equipped with microLED display.

When We Can Expect It

Expect Apple Watch X in the near future is not worth waiting for. According to Gurman, the watch may be released in 2024 or 2025.
