It's official: Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro will get 4 major Android OS updates

Ahead of the launch event on September 26,2023, Xiaomi has shared some details about the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphones.

According to the company, the new devices will boast of extended support. The gadgets will get at least four major updates to the Android operating system. We are talking about Android 14, Android 15, Android 16 and Android 17.

In addition, the Chinese manufacturer promises to send security patches to devices for five years. By the way, the same long support period now has Samsung smartphones.
