For three years, Samsung released the top-of-the-line Galaxy S series models with a camera that supported 10x optical zoom. It looks like the next generation will get rid of it.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by Ice Universe insider. According to the leak, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will get two telephoto lenses, but with support for 3x and 5x optical zoom. The former will be a 10 MP sensor, while the latter will get a 50 MP sensor measuring 1/2.52" with 0.7µm pixels. Despite the reduced zoom, the new 5x zoom sensor will give a significant boost in image quality.
As for the other cameras, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will also post a 200 MP ISOCELL HP2SX main module and a 12 MP wide-angle sensor.
