Insider: Xiaomi 14 Ultra will get Sony's new 1-inch LYT900 sensor and a curved edge display

Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has shared details about Xiaomi's next top smartphone.

Here's What We Know

We are talking about Xiaomi 14 Ultra. According to the insider, the novelty will get a new 1-inch Sony LYT900 sensor. This will be an improved version of the IMX9898 module, which is installed in the Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The new sensor should be complemented by three 50 MP sensors, two of which will be periscopes with 3x and 5x optical zoom.

Digital Chat Station also reported that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Apart from this, the flagship will get a 2K display curved on four sides.

When We Can Expect It

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is scheduled for release in the first half of 2024. By the way, the Chinese manufacturer is also working on the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The novelties may show in November.
