Xiaomi is working on a laptop with Intel's new Meteor Lake processor

Xiaomi is set to expand its laptop portfolio with a new model.

Our colleagues from Gizmochina, spotted the company's new laptop in a Geekbench performance test. According to the leak, the gadget will be powered by a new 14th generation Intel Core Ultra 7 155H (aka Intel Meteor Lake) processor. The chip will get 16 cores with 22 threads. Out of these, there are 6 performance cores and 10 efficient cores. The device also comes with 32GB of RAM and Windows 11 operating system.

The laptop scores 1567 points in the single-core performance test and 8228 points in the multi-core test. This is less than the average score of the current Intel Core i7-13700H processor. However, it should be noted that these are early tests and by the time Intel Meteor Lake debuts, the chip's performance may be different.
