Samsung unveiled the shock-resistant Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro more than a year ago - in September 2022. And now finally the company is preparing to release its successor.

Here's What We Know

Details about the novelty are still few. We don't even know the exact name of the device yet: maybe it will be Galaxy Tab Active 5, or maybe the tablet will be called Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro, following the example of the previous model.

The documentation of the tablet was published in the database of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Samsung will have two model numbers for the tablet - SM-X300 for the Wi-Fi only variant and SM-X306B for the version with 5G connectivity.

It is known that, traditionally, the gadget will get a removable battery, which users will be able to change on their own. But unfortunately, the image is not clear enough to discern details about the battery.

Most likely, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 will support work with the S-Pen stylus and will be priced at the level of the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro (about 800 euros).
