120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, IP68 protection and 5000 mAh battery: insider reveals Redmi K70 specs

The internet has already been abuzz with information that Xiaomi is going to unveil the Redmi K70 line of smartphones. Now thanks to insider @heyitsyogesh we know the main specifications of the base model of the series.

Here's What We Know

So, Redmi K70 will get a 6.67-inch display with OLED-matrix, 2K resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The novelty will be powered by last year's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The gadget will also get a triple main camera of 50 MP + 13 MP (wide-angle lens) + 50 MP (telephoto lens) and a 20 MP front camera.

The Redmi K70 is expected to come with IP68 protection, 5,000mAh battery, 120W charging and stereo speakers with Dolby Vision technology. The smartphone will hit the market with HyperOS 1.0 operating system.

When We Can Expect It

The Redmi K70 is likely to be released in November or December.
