The Apple M3 Ultra could get a 32-core CPU, 80-core GPU and up to 256GB of unitary RAM
Apple will have another processor for computers in its range. We are talking about the Apple M3 Ultra chip.
Here's What We Know
Apple has already introduced the M3 and M3 Max processors, which are used in the MacBook. Their cores are much faster than those used in the M2 chips. We've already seen this with the M3 Max, which outperforms the M2 Ultra in some scenarios.
Naturally, the Apple M3 Ultra will be an even higher performance solution. The chip will get a 32-core CPU and 80-core graphics, and the top-end configuration will offer 256GB of unitary RAM. This was reported by analyst Mark Gurman.
It's too early to talk about the performance of the M3 Ultra in detail. But to understand, the M3 Max with 16-core GPU outperforms the M2 Ultra in the Geekbench 6 benchmark. Moreover, it's not far behind the GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card in GFXBench.
