ASUS is likely to unveil the ROG Phone 8 family of gaming smartphones as early as next year, led by the Ultimate version. It has been certified by China's 3C bureau.

Here's What We Know

ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will not be able to offer the most powerful charging on the market. Not only that, the smartphone won't even fall into the 100+W category. The gaming flagship will get Quick Charge 5 and Power Delivery 3.0 support, and the power will be only 65W, just like the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.

The smartphone will be equipped with a next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor. Android 14 operating system with ROG UI firmware and a large amount of RAM are also expected.

It should be noted that ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has passed the 3C certification after the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro appeared in the IMEI database. The series will thus include three models, excluding special editions, for the first time since 2021.
