Not just the Pro Max: The iPhone 16 Pro will get a tetraprism telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom lens

This year's iPhone 15 Pro Max received an improved telephoto lens with tetraprism and 5x optical zoom. The iPhone 15 Pro, on the other hand, was left without this technology and can only offer users a 3x zoom. However, this inequality will be rectified next year.

This limitation was rumoured to be due to a lack of space: only the Pro Max could accommodate the hardware. And since, according to recent leaks, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will increase in size, both phones will be able to accommodate the improved telephoto lens.

According to insider information, the screen diagonal of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will increase to 6.27 inches and 6.86 inches respectively.
