Insider: OnePlus 12 could get a special version with a wood back panel like the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2

Chinese insider Digital Chat Station continues to reveal details about the OnePlus 12 flagship.

This time the informant revealed that the novelty will get a special version that will come with a wooden back panel. It is not clear yet whether it will be real wood. Perhaps we are talking about plastic with wood texture or glass with a special coating. By the way, the first smartphones of the brand - OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 - had a wooden back panel.

As for the specifications, the OnePlus 12 will get a 6.82-inch panel with an aspect ratio of 19.8:9 and a resolution of 3168×1440p. The screen will have an LTPO AMOLED matrix with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. The smartphone will also feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and a 50 MP + 48 MP + 64 MP tri-sensor camera. The flagship will be released in China on 4 December.
