Apple earlier this year unveiled the Vision Pro augmented reality headset. The first batch will number almost half a million devices.

Here's What We Know

Apple Vision Pro was announced in the summer, but sales will start next year. According to Chinese insiders, production of the first batch will start in December this year. It will consist of 400,000 headsets.

The Apple Vision Pro will be assembled by Chinese company Luxshare. In addition, the headset will contain up to 60% of parts of Chinese origin, despite the desire of the American manufacturer to get rid of dependence on the PRC.

The cost of Apple Vision Pro was $3499. At first, the augmented reality headset will be sold only in the United States. In total, next year the American company intends to sell up to 1 million devices. In 2-4 years, a cheaper modification of Vision Pro will appear on the market.
