The Chinese have started making unofficial GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards with 20GB of GDDR6X video memory for $915

NVIDIA previously released the GeForce RTX 3080 with 10GB and 12GB of video memory. But Chinese specialists are already selling a video card with 20 GB VRAM.

The video card of Chinese craftsmen is called Jieshuo Nvidia RTX 3080 RG Turbo Gaming Graphics Card GDDR6X. It can be purchased at a price of $915. It has a slim cooling system and is designed for artificial intelligence tasks.

Such practices are not uncommon in the PRC. Chinese craftsmen sell GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 4090 for artificial intelligence tasks. In addition, AMD Radeon RX 580 model with 16 GB VRAM has appeared on the market.

In most cases, the sold graphics cards were previously used for cryptocurrency mining. If the device remains in working condition, it gets a new cooling system and is sent to the market. Sometimes sellers even give a warranty on such models.
