ASUS ROG Phone 8 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip tested in Geekbench
A yet-to-be-announced ASUS ROG Phone 8 gaming smartphone has appeared in the Geekbench performance test database.
Here's What We Know
The gadget passes with the model number AI2401_C. According to the report, the novelty will be running the new top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. In addition, the gadget will get 16 GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system out of the box. In the single-core performance test, the smartphone scores 2210 points, while in the multi-core test it scores 6863 points.
Unfortunately, there is no other information about the smartphone in Geekbench, but if previous leaks are to be believed, ASUS ROG Phone 8 will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display at 165Hz. Apart from this, the newcomer will get a 5500mAh battery with 65W charging, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IP68 protection and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 glass. As for the cameras, the ROG Phone 8 will have 50 MP + 13 MP + 32 MP sensors and a 32 MP front-facing module.
When We Can Expect It
The ASUS ROG Phone 8 will be unveiled in early January.
