The entire iPhone 16 lineup will get Apple's A18 processor

Our colleagues at MacRumors have snagged an early iOS 18 code, in which they found information about the new iPhone series.

Here's What We Know

The firmware code mentions four devices: D47, D48, D93 and D94. Most likely, these are the model numbers of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

According to the leak, all four new products will run the same processor. With a high degree of probability, we are talking about the Apple A18 Bionic chip. For comparison, the current iPhone 15 series comes with different SoCs.

Unfortunately, there is no other information about the smartphones in the iOS 18 code, but if rumours are to be believed, all iPhone 16 models will also get an Action Button. The top-end versions of the devices will boast 5x zoom zoom camera sensors and a new cooling system.
