OPPO is preparing to release a new K-series smartphone, the gadget will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip

According to Chinese insider Digital Chat Station, OPPO is set to unveil a new mid-range smartphone.

We are talking about the successor to last year's model OPPO K11. The smartphone will enter the market with the name OPPO K12.

According to the insider, the gadget should be running Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (SM7500) processor. The chip made its debut in November. It has a 1+3+4 cluster: one core at 2.63GHz, 3 cores at 2.4GHz and 4 cores at 1.8GHz.

Also the device should be equipped with a triple main camera and AMOLED-display with increased refresh rate. The novelty will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery.

When We Can Expect It

There is no announcement date for the OPPO K12 yet. Most likely, the gadget will be shown in the spring.
