According to The Information, Apple is developing an iPhone in a clamshell form factor.

If you believe the leak, Apple is now testing two versions of the device, which differ in screen diagonals.

Unfortunately, the characteristics of the novelty is not yet available. It is only known that the gadget is now at an early stage of development, so it should not be expected in 2024 or 2025. The earliest date for the launch of the device is 2026.

The report also says that if the novelty will not meet the standards of Apple, the company may even close the project.

By the way, in addition to the clamshell, Apple is now still working on one folding device in the form factor of a book. The gadget may replace the iPad mini in the future.
