Nokia is still alive: more than 17 new phones will hit the market this year

After the news that HMD Global launched the HMD (Human Mobile Devices) brand and said that it plans to release its own devices under it, many people buried the Nokia brand. But that's not the case.

According to GSMChina, at least 17 new Nokia phones will hit the market in 2024. Their exact names and specifications are not available, but they come with model numbers ranging from TA-1603 to TA-1628. These can be both smartphones and regular button phones.

The fact is that the current official agreement between Nokia and HMD runs until 2026 and guarantees that the iconic Nokia brand will continue to exist for at least the next few years.

HMD Global itself recently said that it plans to pursue a multi-brand strategy. That is, the company will simultaneously release HMD and Nokia smartphones.

There is a possibility that the first new products of 2024 will be unveiled at MWC 2024, which will be held at the end of February.
