Qualcomm will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip in October

Qualcomm has only recently released its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and now information has already emerged on when to expect the next generation of the flagship SoC.

When We Can Expect It

According to Qualcomm CEO Don McGuire, the next Snapdragon Summit event will be held in October. On it should show the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Unfortunately, there are no details about the novelty yet. It is only known that the SoC will come with the Oryon core.

By the way, before the release of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, Qualcomm plans to release another chip from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 line. It will be called Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The processor goes by the model number SM8635. If you believe the rumours, it will get one Cortex X4 core at 3.0 GHz, four Cortex A720 cores at 2.6 GHz and three Cortex A520 cores at 1.8 GHz. There is no information yet when the novelty will be announced.
