Oppo K12 will soon go on sale in China
In January, a Digital Chat Station whistleblower claimed that the Oppo K12 will feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Today, the same whistleblower has published a new post on Weibo to reveal other details about the smartphone. Although the insider didn't mention the launch date of the device, it looks like it won't take too long for it to be launched in China.
Here's What We Know
According to the insider, the Oppo K12 will feature a 6.7-inch display, which appears to be an AMOLED panel. Inside the device will be a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. There is no information about the battery or charging capabilities of the K12 yet. On the front, the smartphone will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera while at the back, it will have a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera unit.
The previous model, the Oppo K11, was announced in July 2023 in China. It came with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED FHD+ display, Snapdragon 782G chipset, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, 16MP front camera and a 50MP (Sony IMX890) + 8MP + 2MP OIS-enabled triple camera unit.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3, which was launched globally last year, was the global version of the Oppo K11. Therefore, it is likely that the Nord CE 4 or 5, which will hit the global market this year, could be a renamed version of the K12.
