Nvidia is going to introduce updated versions of its RTX 4000 series graphics cards that may have significant performance improvements. According to new rumours, this update may even apply to mid-range models.

Here's What We Know

The new versions are scheduled to be released in March 2024 for the RTX 4070 and April 2024 for both the RTX 4060 and 4060 Ti.

Opinions on possible mid-range updates to Nvidia's RTX 4060, 4060 Ti, and 4070 graphics cards are divided, and they are causing doubts among the gaming community. A leak indicating that the new versions may not receive significant changes in specifications raises questions about the feasibility of such updates. If the technical specifications remain virtually unchanged, does it make sense to release new cards? For the most part, such updates look unproductive, especially when compared to the price cuts for competitive graphics cards from AMD after the launch of the Super series.

However, there is one positive aspect: the release of new versions from Nvidia may contribute to an overall reduction in prices for graphics cards and AMD products. The previously launched Super series has already reduced prices for AMD RDNA 3 graphics cards.

If Nvidia decides to release these updated versions, they will still be worth considering and could be a good investment choice.
