Insider: The flagship Samsung Galaxy S26 series presentation will take place at the end of February 2026
Samsung is preparing to launch its new lineup of flagship smartphones — the Galaxy S26. However, as was learned in October, unlike previous years, the presentation may happen later than usual.
What is known
Samsung traditionally presents its flagships in January or early February, but in 2026 the company decided to shift the timing. According to insider Jukanlosreve, the Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for February 25, 2026, and will take place in San Francisco.
The choice of location is not accidental — San Francisco is considered a global center for AI development, and Samsung wants to position the Galaxy S26 series as the "new era of AI smartphones".
The delay in the 2026 presentation is due to an unplanned change in Samsung's plans: the company abandoned the release of the ultra-thin Edge model and urgently launched the production of the S26 Plus. Consequently, three models will be announced at the presentation: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
An interesting piece of news is that the entire Galaxy S26 lineup, including Ultra, may receive the proprietary Exynos 2600 chip. This will be the first occurrence since the release of the Galaxy S22, where Samsung will use Exynos in the top model. theless, the company will continue using a dual-chip strategy: depending on the region, smartphones will be equipped with either Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
