Samsung Galaxy A73 will get 108MP camera from Redmi Note 10 Pro

The Samsung Galaxy A73 will be the first smartphone in the series to boast of a 108-megapixel image sensor in the main camera.

The company from South Korea has two popular 108 MP sensors in its range. The first is the ISOCELL HM3 1/1.33" optical format with 0.8µm pixels. It is used in Samsung's flagship Galaxy S21 Ultra. The second one is ISOCELL HM2 type 1/1.52" with 0.7-µm pixels. This sensor is found in the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

ISOCELL HM2 is the smallest 108MP resolution image sensor in Samsung's range. It is targeted at mid-range smartphones. It is the sensor that will be used in the Samsung Galaxy A73.

The smartphone is also promised optical image stabilization, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7xx series processor, IP67 water protection, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage capacity. The model is expected to go on sale in 2022 with One UI 4.0 firmware on Android 12.
