Motorola prepares to announce Moto G200 smartphone with 144Hz screen and Snapdragon 888 chip on board
This year in March Motorola introduced to the market a low-cost smartphone with top specs - Moto G100 (cover image). Seven months later, the manufacturer is preparing to release its successor.
What we know
According to our colleagues from TechnikNews, the novelty passes with the codename Yukon/Xpeng. The smartphone will be released in China as Motorola Edge S30, while in the global market the device will be called Moto G200.
The following characteristics of the smartphone are expected: FHD + screen with support for refresh rate of 144 Hz. As for the processor, it will be the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The chip should be paired with 8GB of RAM. The novelty should also have a 108 MP + 13 MP + 2 MP triple main camera and a single 16 MP front camera.
Moto G200 is expected to hit the market by the end of this year. The smartphone will come with the already old version of Android 11 OS.
