According to the Korean edition The Elec, Apple plans to replace the next generation iPad Pro and MacBook Pro with OLED screens.

What we know

The panels will be supplied by LG Display and Samsung Display. These screens will have several layers, due to which they will be several times brighter than their existing counterparts. In addition, they will be able to boast of an extended service life. Like display in current iPad Pro and MacBook Pro models, new panels will also get ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rate from 10 to 120 Hz.

Unfortunately, we shouldn't expect OLED screens in the near future in iPad Pro and MacBook Pro . If we believe the report, Apple plans to install them in tablets only in 2023-2024. As for the laptops, OLED-matrix will not appear in them until 2025.

By the way, according to Japanese newspaper Asia Nikkei, Apple is still working on the screens micro-LED.
