Moscow Interior Ministry will purchase 111 armoured icons with prayers for police officers
The main centre for economic, transport and service support of the Moscow department of the Interior Ministry is planning to buy more than a hundred armoured icons. The respective request was published on the Russian government procurement website.

Moscow police officers will receive armoured panels with icons and prayers. Not only are they expected to provide protection from bullets, but they will also allow police officers to withstand the cold, heat and cold.
The bid specifies the purchase of 111 armoured panels, which will depict St George the Victorious, the Kazan icon of the Mother of God and the Archangel Michael (37 of each kind), among others. The size of the icons will be approximately 12 x 16 cm. The description states that the armoured panels are to protect from shrapnel and retain their properties in the event of rain.
The cost of the order is not yet specified. The price will be offered by the contractor.
