Rocket Man: Domino's Pizza has used its first-ever jet suit to deliver pizzas by air

Famous American company Domino's Pizza was inspired by Elton John's song 'Rocket Man' and for the first time delivered a pizza using a jet suit.

There was a major festival in the UK the other day which, incidentally, featured Elton John. Many visitors were hungry, but Domino's Pizza was unable to deliver their food due to heavy traffic jams and a ban on vehicles entering the festival grounds. So the company decided to try a futuristic method of food delivery.

Gravity Industries designed a jet suit that allows the delivery man to fly, keeps him safe and at the same time keeps the pizza warm. The cost of the suit has not been disclosed, but it is thought to be in the hundreds of thousands of pounds.

A Domino's Pizza courier in a jet suit was able to fly over fields and roads and quickly deliver hot pizzas to festival goers.
