Opera GX offers to get rid of "dirty past" and clean up history in case of user's death

Opera GX, a browser for gamers, is introducing a new feature called "Fake History" in case the user dies.

This feature will help protect your reputation with a fake history of requests. If you've made silly and weird purchases and dabbled in adult content, the browser will completely erase that "sinful" history and replace it with a new one.

Instead, the browser will display a fictional story with queries that will make your grandmother happy, such as how to volunteer, donate blood, and build a birdhouse for birds.

You don't have to die to do this: Opera GX will automatically erase your history if you don't access the browser for 14 days. You can also choose not to wait and select the "Pretend I'm already dead" field to start the wipe immediately.
