CryptoPunk NFT Pixel Image Bought for Nearly $ 3,000,000

Cryptocurrency startup MoonPay has acquired a pixel image from the CryptoPunk collection in a non-fungible token format.

The company bought image # 2681. It is a picture of a zombie punk with a purple cap and bright red eyes. The cost of the NFT was 900 Ethereum coins, or approximately $ 3,000,000 at the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.

MoonPay currently has over a dozen non-fungible tokens. Most of them are NFT monkey images from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection.
