Xiaomi SU7 first revealed in high-quality images - the electric car will get a motor with up to 673 hp, a CATL or BYD battery and a speed of up to 210 km/h
Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its first electric car. The company more than two and a half years ago officially announced its desire to enter this market.
Here's What We Know
The first electric car of the Chinese brand will be called Xiaomi SU7. Previously, it was known as the MS11. Production will be set up at the factory of Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. Ltd.
The dimensions of the Xiaomi SU7 will be 4997 x 1963 x 1455 mm and the wheelbase will be 3000 mm. The car will be available in modifications with and without LiDAR. There will be a camera on the side to recognise the user's face.
Xiaomi SU7 will offer customers BYD or CATL batteries depending on the configuration. United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd will supply the electric powertrain. It will have a maximum output of 673 horsepower. The electric motor will allow the car to reach speeds of up to 210 kilometres per hour.
The mass production of the Xiaomi SU7 is expected to start as early as next month. Deliveries of electric cars will start in the middle of the third quarter of 2024.
