We are talking about at least four cars. Novelties will be built on a new platform A Main and they are planned to be sold exclusively in the Chinese market. According to rumours, the price of the models will be from 19,000 euros to 22,200 euros. The cars will be produced at joint factories of VW with SAIC and FAW.

The new platform will not only reduce the cost of electric cars for the Chinese market, but also reduce the development time of new models by a third. With the new platform, VW wants to produce new models in two and a half years in the future. By comparison, VW now spends four years on this.
