Tesla will unveil the Cybertruck today, announce official pricing and begin sales
A few hours remain until the official presentation of the Cybertruck. Tesla will hold the event tonight at 16:00 (EDT) or 13:00 (PDT).
Here's What We Know
The electric pickup truck was announced in 2019, but in the meantime we have learnt almost nothing new about the vehicle. At today's presentation, Tesla will reveal all the technical specifications and announce the price of the car.
The head of the American company Elon Max (Elon Musk) will hand over the keys to the first buyers of the Cybertruck. In addition, open sales of the electric car will begin today. Although initially it was assumed that it will appear on the market two years after the announcement, i.e. in 2021.
The Cybertruck features a futuristic, angular design. Musk calls it potentially Tesla's best product yet. During the November 2019 event, a curio occurred. The Iron Ball broke a window, even though Ilon Musk claimed to use armoured glass.
Tesla is expected to show up to ten electric pickup trucks at today's presentation. A year and a half ago, the company claimed that more than 1 million customers had pre-ordered the vehicle. In 2019, Tesla said that the cost of the Cybertruck consists of $39,000-69,000 depending on the equipment, but these prices no longer appear on the manufacturer's website.
