US electric car manufacturer Rivian has announced the unveiling of a new car.

According to the official invitation of the company, the event will be held on March 7. It will show a new electric SUV with the name R2. Information about the novelty is still not much. It is known that the model will have medium dimensions and will compete with such electric cars as Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

As for the price, it will be in the neighbourhood of $45,000 or $50,000. In comparison, the current Rivian R1T and Rivian R1S models cost over $73,000.
