Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that they plan to release the second generation of their Roadster sports electric car next year.
Here's What We Know
Musk noted that the design has already been developed and will be presented this year. The four-seater Roadster was announced at the end of 2017 with a 2020 launch date.
However, in 2021, Tesla postponed the Roadster to 2023 because it had problems with the global supply chain. Last year, Musk said that his company wanted to start production of the car in 2024.
The new electric car will be able to reach speeds from 0 to 90 kilometres per hour in just 1 second.
