This new feature allows users to turn any image on their phone into a sticker.

Here's What We Know

So far, only a few testers have had access to this feature, but it is expected to become available to more users in the coming weeks.

In addition to the ability to create new stickers, users can also edit existing stickers and add various effects and animations to them.

Consumers can edit existing stickers by clicking on them and selecting the option to edit the sticker. An image editor will open, in which you can choose different types of stickers located at the bottom of the screen.

The new feature is in line with the previous beta update 2.24.5.10 from February 2024, when WhatsApp was working on introducing Lottie support. It allows users to create and send animated stickers to their contacts, add movements, transitions and effects, and resize them without losing quality. Between these two updates, stickers on WhatsApp can become much more personalised than ever before.
